My youngest turned 10 this spring, and to celebrate we had a few friends over to make origami, eat cake, and bat a piñata. For making the origami, we invited my older daughter's crafty friend to help the younger girls along. I enjoyed seeing the age groups mix together. When I entered the room, I saw the kids taping their creations to the streamers, making long tails of origami flow from the ceiling. Amazing what your imagination can do with paper - and no glue required!
