The last leg of our trip was spent on the Archipelago Trail, a group of island off the southwest coast of Finland, near Turku. The islands are linked by bridges and ferries, and it's a common biking destination for those wanting to circle the entire trail. The scenery is pristine, green, and dotted with islands, cottages, and sailing vessels. We stayed on the island of Mossala at the Lomekeskus cottages. We had cottage #8 (such a great location with a smooth rock area to explore) and the cottages had their own pier, campfire pit and kitchens. Aside from the splintered foot which eventually worked out - everything was perfect!
