Helsinki was our first stop in Finland. We were fortunate to meet up with a colleague from my app community who helped us get oriented. He led a walking tour of the city, and drove us to nearby Espoo with a great children's playground and forest for bilberry picking. On our second day we visited the sea fortress of Suomenlinna - a short boat ride from Helsinki's marina.
