This is a selection of pictures from various geyser basins at Yellowstone National Park. The first shot is Old Faithful, which is active throughout the day, almost like clockwork. Around Old Faithful there is a walkway to many other geysers in the immediate area. We were lucky enough to see one that only erupts every 5 days, so it was a quick to the camera moment. Most notable were the whiffs of sulfur in the air, gurgling pools, and bright orange colors of the minerals and deposits present in the geothermal zone.
