I've hobbled along on this good old Blogger Blog for over a year, sharing travel photos and tales. This year, as I plan for BlogHer 10 in New York, I thought it would be nice to dress it up. Thanks to Alesha Bishop and Shayla Miller, graphic designers in the Bay Area, for this fun new banner. It's happy, but without the cheesy grin.
Alesha created and coordinated the banner, the ad square, business cards, and a new twitter background. I met Alesha through a group we co-founded called Moms With Apps. She was central to the look and feel of the Mom Maps app. Funny, a year ago I would never have thought about embarking upon a personal brand. I guess it's the way of the new world. Ah, Twitter and Facebook, what have you done? Oh well, as long as it's fun!

I'm thinking about getting my own logo for my blog as well. Still too slow (or rather lazy) to look for a designer. :)

I have been looking at redesigning my blog as well but have had no luck finding a designer...either WAY out of my price range or they don't return emails.
