Fabric Crafts

Every so often, a crafting session will take on a life of its own. It usually starts with flipping through a magazine for some ideas (here's my favorite ==> http://stampington.com/greencraft-magazine). When I find something I like, I dive in. My favorite projects re-use materials from home - no store trip required. These necklaces were made from felt, fabric, machine stitching, and random buttons from a button box. To display the necklace, I reused cardboard from the recycling bin, cut out a "tag" shape, and made slits to position the cord. Whether the birthday party these are headed toward will be well received, I may never know. But making them was a delight.
