We were in Napa for my husband's work event, and during his meetings I took the kids to Calistoga to try a bike tour. I asked the tour operator for the "most family-friendly" route he could find, and he saved the day by getting a trailer bike so my youngest could keep up with the group. Calistoga has the flattest terrain and nice back roads away from most of the traffic. While at the winery stops, the kids and I played bocce ball and looked at the art and grounds. Overall a terrific excuse to be outside in wine country with kids. (The painting was at Bennett Lane Winery, and the artist is Scott Cleek.)
