Boats of Nova Scotia
There was so much peace driving the coastlines of Nova Scotia up and around Cape Breton Island. This simple scene is one of my favorite shots of the trip, and stays with me even far away back home in California. Here is a wider angle view, plus some shots up and down the inlet. One of the boat owners showed us the starfish on the pier posts, proof it was saltwater from the ocean even though it was so protected and calm.

Gorgeous! The images nicely depict the tranquility of the place, and the clean air. I like the last shot as well. Something I'd never thing of doing.
Nice, calming images. Thanks for sharing a place so few get around to visiting.
Wow great shots! Now I'll have to post some more Victoria shots!
I love Nova Scotia. We spent time there during one of my school vacations with my family. We even took a ride on a little tug boat!
It looks so tranquil there with the boats reflecting on the water
Beautiful pictures! I love that first one. Thanks for sharing!
Wow! This is absolutely gorgeous. Make me want to be able to transport myself there whenever I need some quiet time. Also love the starfish picture. Amazing. I have never seen one live before.
I love the Maritime provinces and would love to spend more time in Cape Breton. Great scenery and music!
It does look so peaceful. I want to pull up a chair and sip some cocoa.
I am royally green with envy that you were there! Loved the boats. Can I just travel with you next time and bring my camera along and be your travel photographer?????
Thanks for capturing and sharing the beauty of the Nova Scotia seacoast!
Magic photos of Novs Scotia - a place I'd love to visit.
