Napa With Kids in 24 Hours

Outdoor Fireplace, Downtown Napa

Cupcakes, Oxbow Public Market

Vineyards, Mustard, and Rain

Outdoor Courtyard, Lawrence Hall of Science

We had a month of summer weather right in the middle of winter, and an opportunity for a weekend getaway. The snow wasn't calling, but Napa was. Within 24 hours we enjoyed an overnight at the Westin in downtown Napa, a family-style Italian dinner near the waterfront, dessert at the Public Market, a drizzly drive along the vineyards, and a visit at Lawrence Hall of Science in Berkeley on the way home. Success? Why yes!

Great getaway!

I was disappointed with Oxbow Market, probably because it's frequently called a smaller Ferry Building, but I didn't realize how much smaller until we got there. We still managed to eat well, however. :)

The cupcakes look delicious! Haven't been to Napa for ages, maybe its time to make a trip?
