A remarkable aspect about California is that you can enjoy the beach during any month of the year. These photos are from our recent tidepooling session at Natural Bridges State Beach in Santa Cruz. You can take the girl out of California, but you can't take California out of the girl. Long live the relaxing beach walk...and Happy Photo Friday!

Yes, long live the relaxing beach walk! Some of my favorite beach walks have actually been in the winter...less people, interesting discoveries. Looks like you had a good time.
One of my favorite beaches, it's got it all: tidepools, picnic areas, butterflies, and of course the beach.
Some of the best trips have been in January and February.

I guess you can enjoy the beach any time of year but I wouldn't swim in winter!
