Disney's Delight

After seeing Minnie Mouse for the first time.

How does Disney do it? It's like a real-life magic spell cast on kids at birth. They may not have a clue who Mickey Mouse is, but as soon as you say "Disneyland", everything clicks and a fan is born.

Maybe the secret is unveiled somewhere in the new Walt Disney Family Museum, which just opened to the public on October 1st. The pundits say it's more appropriate for the older kids (6+), so I'll wait before heading up with the family. But when we do go, I hope to find out what's really in that fairy dust...

More magic moments await at Photo Friday (and while you're there, check out Debbie's recent post about Disney's volunteer program, another stroke of genius in wonderland.)

What a priceless picture! You really captured her joy and excitement. I am not a huge Disney fan, but I do love seeing my kids get so excited.

That is an awesome picture! I don't know how Disney does it either. But I have to say, I LOVE Disneyland, even without kids. :)

Oh her smile is priceless! Disney pretty amazing. I suppose they have to make it that way since it costs and arm and a leg these days to get in. We went a few months ago with our little girl, and she LOVED it!

So cute! I haven't been to Disneyland or World in years, but I'm sure I'd have the same reaction. Cheers!

Great picture! I actually got a little teary-eyed watching my daughter and her cousins with the Disney characters. It's so cute that to them, those characters are as real as can be!

That's a great shot that summarises the sheer happiness kids get from meeting the Disney characters. I guess we can safely say they have successfully passed the test of time!

every time I pop over to see what you're up to I get sooooooo green with envy. Disneyland! Ah man! I've been wanting to go for sooooo long. I need your tricks as to how to do it cheap (well, relatively cheap--I know it's Disneyland).
